New Season September 12th

With the new season just over a month away, does this mean we'll be seeing some pre-season friendlies in the next couple of weeks? A tour perhaps?

I guess the finish of the season was very much like a pre-season and the I doubt the squad have been given more than a week off before they're back for training. I shouldn't think there'll be more than a few low key friendlies to keep fitness levels up either.

No word yet on when the fixtures are out either, and I suspect we'll be playing the first month at least 'behind closed doors'..

A tour is surely out of the question. I would guess regional friendlies would be likely, the likes of Cheltenham, Forest Green etc and I can’t see more than one or two given it’ll be less than 2 months since last season finished.

As for the season, now the play offs have been completed we should be getting a fixture list pretty soon I would imagine.
