I used to sit well away from him on the Bob Bank but within visual distance. There was a bloke sat behind him at one game, a really nice bloke who I'd talked to a few times. Anyway one game I sat behind the bloke because he knew his stuff on football and I liked talking to him. I think we were losing, or drawing 0-0 and Dai Hunt was sat 2 rows in front of the bloke. This bloke was getting a bit wound up with Dai spitting out words at random and an hour into the game he cracked. leaned forward and started pushing and throwing punches at Dai. Brightened up my Saturday that did.

When my eldest got to about 10 I said we’d leave the Spar family stand and start going on the bob bank terracing. On the way to his first terracing game he tells me that his mate Adam likes to stand in front of the nutter who talks to the players but his uncle won’t let him. Before the sentence was even finished I told him in no uncertain terms that we wouldn’t be doing it either. When we got to the ground my brother talked me into it so we stood right in front of him for the pre match warm up. My lad thought it was fucking hilarious, me not so much. We moved over just before the game kicked off.
Next time he saw his mate at football training they pissed themselves laughing about him. He also spent the next few months asking if we could stand there again - I told him when he started going with his mates he could get a season ticket right next to him.

The mans a fucking idiot - how someone hasn’t kicked him to death is one of life’s mysteries.

My favourite encounter with Dai was when Bellamy signed for us first time around.

I was out and about near the ground on business, and heard he was going to be announced to the fans, so I drove over there and a couple of hundred of us were sat in the lower grandstand waiting for Bellers to come out.

Dai was there.
Kept shouting out to the younger players, shouting to the TV cameras did they want to interview him, absolute pain in the arse.
The rest of us had nowhere to go, and spent the time trying to keep our heads down, nervously sneaking a look at each other, raising eyebrows and trying not to laugh.

He's a compulsive liar. When boasting about his £10k from Rishi he claimed his "business" had been hit for £350 a week. He was also bragging about how he was able to carry on working. Considering the Gov only pay 80% that means that blue matt should get 80% of £350*15 weeks. £4,200. It is also capped at £7,500.

Whenever I pointed out he was lying, I could see him in Private Messenger along with Mike. Call me Einstein!

I was buying a fanzine when Dai started talking to the guy the selling it, saying that it wasnt true but made for a good story. I also remember people on CCMB claiming it happened because they knew people who had witnessed it!

Working is fine whilst you are furloughed. The only permission you need is from your regular employer.

This Morning i got on here to a message from someone who i class as a decent poster ( of old ) that they were disappointed to read i was cheating the Furlough system, it appears someone ( Jigra i guess :wave: ) is telling anyone who will listen that i have been boasting that i have cheated the Furlough scheme The guy who messaged me said after i explained to his how it worked, maybe i should post on here so others know, so here it is, the guy might be right, he might not and no-one really

He claimed he lost £300 a week which means he would have to claim 41 weeks to get £10k

If he wants to be upset at someone "telling anyone who will listen that I am cheating the furlough system", then maybe he needs to look a bit closer to home. I haven't said anywhere that he is cheating the system, but if that's the conclusion being drawn from his stories then he only has himself to blame.
