That’s very much the era that springs to mind for me too. Strangely enough I forgot Hoilett played for them though.

Chris Samba played for them and was a decent centre half. Dunn and Tuncay good midfielders

I will add Ronnie Clayton and Bryan Douglas from the 60's. Over a thousand appearances for the club between them and both have stands named after them at Ewood Park.

Saw them both play against City at NP back in the black and white days.
