Scott Johnson AKA Roathboy had an interview with Dalman which has been released this morning, I've had a look and here's some talking points from it (feel free to add your own)

I never want us to lose but I’m half hoping we get tonked today so Whitehead isn’t given the job and they speed up the search for a proper manager.

I honestly thought the Leeds game would have led to action. It's like there is an arrogance that we can have 4 games left at the end of the season, needing 10 points to stay up, and we'll do it. No panic.

Relegation is happening.

Warnock said he will only consider starting in March. It's looking like 6 weeks of nonsense, then Warnock, then relegation.

Dalman talking with a lot of hindsight there too "I didn't want to sign Sala".

@Glos Blue s , didn't see your reply when I wrote this, then saw we think the same way on this. Club is a mess.

If this is the plan then i’m lost for words, even for them this would be quite a number. Other teams might have pulled away by then, they’re all strengthening down there apart from us

The way I read it is that there is some sort of committee that signs players. In that case, what do we need a manager for. Get Tan in the dugout and he can live and die by the decisions he makes in secret.

I remember people bigging the squad up as rino et Al beat up lower division sides pre-season.

It's fickleness.

Yes, there are structural issues needing addressing, but right now the stats don't lie. Defensively, we'e not that bad.

All it needs is something to click up front, confidence, get some momentum.

If we relegate, then we relegate, that's football. No club has a divine right to stay in a division, unless you're one of the top Prem clubs buying their spot.

Like the regime or not, I'm proud they've not cheated FFP like Bournemuff did.

Are you Tan in disguise? That’s the exact attitude it seems like he and the club have. Whatever, rebuild the squad on a skeleton budget with our U23s manager, then sack him and hire his assistant. Then sack him and hire his assistant part 2 during the January transfer window. Whatever, I’m sure they might be able to keep us up, maybe, god willing, who f*cking cares.

At best this is gambling, at worst this is complete suicide. Do you even care?

This is our last game of the present transfer window, but there are still 10 days left for things to happen. 30 applicants means that the club as it stands does hold some attraction for managers.
