The Tour comes within a couple of kms of Chateau TDA tomorrow. It's going through the middle of the little village where TDA Jnr lives and the barriers for crowd control were going up this afternoon. We had planned a trip out to town tomorrow, but we will postpone that until Thursday when the COVID-19 infected hordes should have dispersed.

A good stage today with many huge mountains to climb including a 15% hill to finish off :yikes:

Roglic & Pogarcar are the favourites overall and then Bernal.

Bernal looking way off the pace and Ineos looking bereft of ideas. Either that or they just haven’t got the strength to do anything. Have to think that yesterday’s stage was the perfect opportunity to do something tactically that could have put Bernal closer to Roglic.

I think Ineos are content to let Jumbo run the race at this stage tbh, like I said, looking to then control the final week.

Froome leaving anyway. T hasn't been in great form.

Ineos made the decision to go with Bernal and Carapaz. Carapaz has had a few crashes, Bernal out of form - both are the future of the team so putting them in the Tour was the right call.

T had his moment of glory and well done to him. Expecting to be team lead in TdF though? A stretch. Froome? As if he'd ride for Bernal...

EDIT: Assuming T or Froome selected as main man instead of Bernal - what exactly are they gonig to do differently? Bernal's support fell away quite easily. T and Froome aren't gonig to prevent that - may not have cracked like Bernal did, but wouldn't be in yellow.
