I remember the thread on here when the news first broke that a plane was missing in the channel but no other details. The way the information dripped into the thread throughout the day was incredible.

That was @Steve R who first posted it. But I hadnt seen that at first, and had awoken to Radio Wales including Rob Phillips with a very sombre tone.
My stomach sank. I just knew it had to be Sala's plane.
Then all the talk of searchers finding a football on a beach and also smoke coming from an uninhabited island near the crash site gave us all hope.
And the chilling words of his ex girlfriend talking about dark forces or something?
Then the tragic last WhatsApp voice msgs. Blydi hell

The court case with the claims he would have kept us up and we should thus be compensated isn't a great look on the face of it but is presumably one of the ways we pressurise Nantes into admitting culpability.
Even in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy it seemed pretty obvious to me it would rumble on for ages and be stupidly complex with all parties look to shift blame and responsibility. I would have expected more resolution five years on though
The Daily Mail and The Conservative Party are two massive reasons why this country is in the state it's in.
I'd personally ban both and jail all those involved.

The clubs social media had been under attack for the past 24 hours with lots of trolling from disgruntled French Legion of Nantes Nonces. There has been counter-trolling by the Cardiff City Defence Force and from previous experience we expect the French to surrender any time soon.

If this comes off I can see the legal floodgates opening from other clubs who feel they've been wronged
