Caerphilly Morrisons is like a lucky dip of efficiency.

They tend to employ a few people with special needs (so I usually feel at home there) which can be either a blessing or a burden.

There’s a guy who pushes one of those big cleaner things around the store early in the morning. Nice enough bloke, just don’t get in his way because he stops for nobody.

There’s a young lad on the checkout who’s like the Usain Bolt of groceries - lobs your stuff through fast enough to put any Aldi worker to shame.

Just don’t get the old woman who looks like she’s been sleeping in a hedge all night. In the rain. Slower than Aden Flint. Likes to examine your things one by one as she scans them.
