back online with a new Laptop

Hi all. Only been login in here from phone until today. My old Acer aspire dies last week after 6 years and two rebuilds. So happy to have a Laptop again. Phones are okay for certain sites, but i could not imagine a life without a PC/Laptop.
Here is wishing everyone here a better one than last and please give me a chance in Pickem/Fourcast etc

Why have laptop prices skyrocketed but their specs, if anything, have gone backwards? Was looking for a replacement to my tiring laptop, that must be about 7 yrs old now. It cost me something like £375 when I bought it, but everything is half the RAM of my machine for over 4 times the price. Gave up looking and opted to have a new hard drive, which is being fitted tomorrow for 200 squids
