Apparently Jake Paul's ranking is around 1100 in the world (out of 1400) so it's obscene he has a chance to fight a member of the elite just because he has a lot of followers on social media.

The boxers these Youtubers fight are paid to make it look like a real fight, they never just batter them. Oftentimes they can be seen holding back punches or outright holding them up physically to make sure they don't hit the canvas too early.

You can understand him taking the money - he was going to fight a bum next year anyway and now he's fighting a bigger bum for much more money and attention - chance of losing the fight should be 0% but he can lose face if not ridiculously one-sided. If he is still a proper boxer he needs to destroy him from the outset.
