Only if he kept similar form & results, he could well have had , but might not have reached 71pts.

Some yanks were on about it when I went to the World Cup. I told them they're pretty much as far away as they can be from us in Wales and they're so far beneath us they're irrelevant (still conference back then). They were a bit taken aback.

I've nothing against Wrexham and better them than an English team but had to challenge the ridiculous narrative and try and help the Yanks understand how sport actually works

But, the thing is, very few Premier League teams could be the lead story on Good Morning America. This profile attracts interest but more importantly revenue and investment. This in turn can be translated to more signings and potentially success. Is it a house built on sand? Maybe. But it's one hell of a ride and who knows where it might end.

It's amazing how Reynolds has leveraged his fame for Wrexham's benefit. They also seem to be in it for the right reasons and seem decent eggs. I want them to do well as it's been great PR for Wales. I just couldn't be arsed to be a nodding dog for an ignorant American though.
