There’s already an airport thread. As it happens things are steadily improving at Cardiff. Here’s another example of an airline
that, like Ryanair and KLM has expanded its schedule in recent mothns

Also doing well for customer satisfaction though I suspect that's partly because it's not so busy so doesn't have the stress of bigger airports

But Doncaster

SD won't be happy until there's no trains, planes, road signs or Welsh people in Wales.

There are trains and as I have pointed out there are routes which are free of charge, six months of the year, with other routes, in Notth Wales, free of charge for twelve months of the year.
We have the most spoiled, pampered, population in the whole of the UK and they still find time to moan about wanting more.

In fairness at £39.95 that is cracking value for money.

It's only cost us £85 million to get a £39.95 flight to somewhere that very few people want to go to.

Is that the best you could do in 24 hours?
:hehe:

Surely you agree with public ownership?

As I said that’s just one of the airlines along with the other two I mentioned. Also the Wizz Air summer schedule was very successful and they are expanding their routes next summer and also kept two routes on over the winter which they weren’t originally planning to do.

You must be in marketing. The use of the word 'expanded' is usually carefully placed to hide the fact that something has contracted.

When I used KLM from Cardiff to fly back and forth to Baku, we had five flights a day, both ways between Cardiff and Amsterdam.

So, do we now have five KLM flights a day both ways?

Demand goes up and down dependant on a variety of factors

Covid decimated the flight industry everywhere

Only absolute idiot can argue that moving in the right direction is a negative

You’ve saved me posting the same thing.

Do you remember what the first noticeable change was at Cardiff Airport, after the Welsh Government pumped millions of £££'s into it?

They expanded the marketing team from four people to twenty four people.

With three runways to choose from, within half a mile of each other, we have more landing and take off options than Gatwick and Heathrow put together.

i would have thought marketing the airport would be pretty pivotal in getting people to use it more :hehe:
