That’s a relatively modest amount of money in the scale of things. To put it in perspective, that’s about one third of what it cost to build a shopping centre in town, to keep Wales only airport running. There is also a higher rate of Air Passenger Duty compared to Bristol and other airports that UK Government refuses to devolveLack of competition on that route out of CWL keeps the prices high, but the passenger demand is clearly there for them to increase their flights
