With three weeks left to the start of the new season, Cardiff City and new manager Brian Barry-Murphy still have pre-season training to complete, we still don't know for sure which players are staying (Ramsey, Ralls, Rinomhota and O'Dowda the most notable departures so far) and we've yet to make any meaningful additions to the squad.

Darren Ferguson's Peterborough finished 18th in League 1 last season but Posh fans will remember the 2024/25 campaign for the 2-0 EFL Trophy Final win over Birmingham City at Wembley.

I’ll be fucked if I’m going to give golf a miss for this shower

2 nil. Fukoff pompee

1-0 Ralls screamer

Hard to call not knowing how good the manager is, what the squad will be like and having been out of L1 for two decades. However, now is the time to be positive so 3 nil City :aya::aya::aya::aya:

Darren Ferguson knows this division inside out and his team is always going to be thereabouts. Might be an uncomfortably tight game, but with a couple of decent additions, I'd take City with new manager bounce to get off to a winning start.

Three weeks to go. No signings. Manager was our third choice, and wangled a long contract because of our desperation.

And what are our reasons to be cheerful :sherlock:
