So if Rotherham win their game in hand against Luton on Tuesday they would be level on points with Derby (but with a worse GD)

So it really would go down to the last day. Would you be ok for us to lose our last game of the season if it meant Derby going down?

Derby have Sheff Weds on the last day who could also go above Derby with a win.

Rotherham's recent form is awful. The matches backed up because of COVID postponements are taking their toll.

I think the best hope of sending Derby down is for Sheff Wed to beat them.

If Rotherham beat Luton, then Wednesday would need to swing the starting goal difference on Saturday (i.e. beat Derby) by least 6 goals (depending on tonight's result) to send Rotherham and Derby down. If City beat Rotherham heavily, then that number would be reduced pro rata.

Yes. I forgot to add that wednesday could survive if the score enough goals. From a neutral perspective i would like Rotherham to win tonight. Exciting last day at the bottom.

I think they have had some rotten luck as opposed to being so poor. Think they have had some dodgy decisions against them recently. They play some good stuff at times. Hope they are the team that stay up.

Have had another look at their record. They have lost 13 of the last 18 games, starting with our win up there in the snowstorm. That's 11 points from a possible 54.

The fixture postponements due to COVID probably hasn't helped them, but to get caught out twice by that is more than unfortunate.

Seems like josh windass is a target and reach is coming to end of contract. So to improve our squad it is in our interests to lose heavily and hope Wednesday balls it up against derby

Well I’ve just got on Swansea to get promoted, Rotherham and Sheffield to go down for exactly the same reason.
