I think you are, the club have said they’ll be doing things to celebrate the 125th anniversary year. Badge change to an older one, retro kit etc are the things you see other clubs doing for such anniversaries. I hope we name a stand after Whittingham too.
I doubt we’ll be getting new owners any time soon, especially with the Sala case ongoing, I’d imagine Tan will want to see that one out.

I still think that knowing our owner he would want something from Malaysia on it ie the oriental dragon.
It seems unlikely there will be a stand named after Whitts. Apparently his family aren't keen and if that is the case it's right for the club to abide by that.
While he's from Malaysia I think Tan is ethnically Chinese. Think it's meant to be a Chinese dragon
Thats surprising re Whitts maybe something else could be done in his memory that the family would want.
I still don't understand why they can't use a decent font for the advertising. It looks so blocky and negatively impacts the kit no matter how well designed it isThis would be nice

125 years is quite an important milestone. It could also be a subtle way of changing the badge permanently to replace the dragon thing.
Worst case scenario it probably helps sell kit a bit. Best case scenario Tan can reinstate a more traditional badge without losing face

Yeah. Why stop at just the jersey? Perhaps the players can wear those long shorts, massive boots, all grow big moustaches, smoke pipes while playing and celebrate each goal with a firm handshake.

I'd like to see that as an away kit, and maybe used as a home kit for one match (first or last of season). If they could do it without sponsors, a badge, and even numbers on the back (numbers on shorts). It's not a great looking kit, but it is unique and I'm not sure there's been many clubs that have worn an orange and brown, off the shoulder ensemble.
I remember the club sold orange and brown scarves that people bought (from the club) to protest (against the club). That always seemed a daft way of protesting, but if Tan could turn the stadium red for a game, maybe he could turn it orange and brown for a game too.

In the old programs, they would put the colours of the kits
City were always "Royal Blue shirts, White knickers and Blue Stockings".
Two thirds of that is my most used search in those grown-up sites.
I'd like to see the kit brought back - a laced version of the shirt like the Super Furry's kit. Didn't they do this for the 100 year celebration, but the kit was never worn?
Would work on something like this old Brum stripEven Tans corporation logo would be better. Colour change thought.
