I don't think last night's game was anything more than a fitness exercise and a chance for Bulut to look at the youngsters. I'm sure some will go out on loan.

That said Joel Colwill looks the part already and I thought Tom Davies was several times better that Joel Bagan, who is still clueless when in possession.

For players like Conte and Giles, the dilemma has to be whether to keep and develop them in house in the U21s or put them out on loan where they may not play.

Fair enough but maybe not the best idea to stream it but I guess you need every easy penny in an FFP world.

If they're unlikely to be a proper part of our squad my guess is they're better off on loan - every player is different though. Players need to be given a chance to sink or swim and the players of the right mix of talent and attitude will generally make it.
