Is it just me or is customer service getting worse?

All i seem to do these days is argue with these twats. In the past few days I've done:

Eon - thick useless cunts.

Removal company - lost or damaged about half a dozen things but somehow it's not their fault.

New landlord - takes my rent but doesn't think repairs are part of the deal.

Wayfair - sent me broken shit then don't bother collecting their broken shit when I wait in all day.

Mark my words, the next customer service cunt I've got to deal with is going to tip me over the fucking edge.

I'm too tight to pay for the stuff. When I was in my early twenties I'd drink a bottle of gin and half a slab a day because it was free. As soon as circumstances changed I'd stopped drinking within a week. Now I can't drink because of medication. I hope it hasn't changed your life expectancy.

how did you free drink when u were younger?

I worked at Victoria Dock in London. Hospitality on the ships was offered to all and sundry who had reason to call on board. I'd drink a quarter of a bottle of gin with a few beer chasers on say four or five ships a day. At mid day we'd go for lunch on what we considered to be the best ship for eating on. The best ones were the cruising liners where we'd have up to 10/12 courses available. We needed to eat to soak up the alcohol. At weekends I'd volunteer to come in just to eat (My single days).

The only thing that would beat my HMRC would be MI5 or MI6. I was not desk bound and kept my own hours most of the time. I even had powers to draw in other agencies.
