Craig Bellamy’s Cymru will face Canada at the Swansea.com Stadium and England in Wembley Stadium, completing the international schedule for 2025.

The match against Canada on Tuesday 9 September (KO 7:45pm) marks a return to Swansea for the team, having last played there in November 2020 in a goalless draw against the USA during the COVID-19 pandemic. The last match with a crowd at the Swansea.com Stadium was in March 2013 against Croatia, in a match featuring current Head Coach Craig Bellamy.

Cymru’s last match against Canada was a 1-0 win in Wrexham in May 2004, and the upcoming match will be the fourth time the sides will face each other.

England will be familiar foes for Cymru, having recently faced them at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals, a friendly match during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the UEFA EURO 2016 finals. Cymru last played in front of a crowd in Wembley Stadium under Gary Speed in September 2011, with a narrow 1-0 loss in the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying round match. The match will take place on Thursday 9 October (KO 7:45pm).

Completing the schedule for 2025?

I thought we had Belgium in October too?

May be me losing it a bit but is that write up a bit all over the place.

Can't really make head or tail of it all

I’d imagine we’ll see Kpakio get a start for this. Hopefully Joel gets a run out at some point too

I think it's a nice change. Doesn't seem many opportunity to try new things as either nations league trying to get a playoff place at next tournament, or qualifying for next major tournament. Would be good to see some of the fringe players, play their way into Bellamy's thinking

More friendly spaces than normal and tbf the FAW will be criticised whatever they do. The England friendly at Wembley should be good for the coffers but there are reasonable criticisms about it being an unnecessary distraction ahead of Belgium at home.

Canada a reasonable call as WC qualifiers and a bit exotic. Right to give Swansea a chance to prove whether they deserve more fixtures in future. Even if both sides rest big players it should be enough of a test to be useful for youngsters or players that need the experience or game time

Pointless game.
It’s certainly not pointless, and Bellamy won’t be treating it like that. The likes of Kpakio, Colwill, Koumas, Crew etc need international games under their belt as they may well end up being needed in the remaining qualifiers.

Presumably he'll give Lawlor another game though he'll probably want to play Cabango and Davies too for PR purposes

I can’t see him playing them just because it’s at Swansea’s ground. Canada are a decent opponent too. They beat Romania 3-0 in Bucharest on Friday.

Bellamy is unpredictable and does eschew orthodox approaches but I suspect he'll play at least one and maybe both.
