There's good money to be made from roadkill. People who keep larger pythons appreciate such stuff for their pets.
Someone claim him before Wongs get wind of this!! There'll be extra servings of their sweet & sour meat dish tonight otherwise.
There must be a trade involved, the amount of pets that go 'missing'.

I know I wouldn't be getting any sleep if that was my dog out there on his own tonight. Nightmare for them. I'm passing that way in the morning. I will have a look around for him I think. I've taken 3 lost dogs to the vets in the last 18 mnths. All of them were chipped luckily so they were returned home. I'm pretty good at finding them. Hopefully someone else will have by then. Mans best friend see.

RFID chips of the sort they put into animals and your credit/debit card require no intrinsic power supply because they just transmit a simple code number when scanned and use the tiny bit of radiation that comes off the scanner as the power supply.
GPS on the other hand needs to constantly be sending a powerful signal strong enough for a satellite to detect. You could put a battery in the dogs collar I suppose but then you'd have to charge the dog up via USB and people would tut and make comments about how the world's gone mad etc.
If only someone could fashion some sort of leather loop that could go around a dog’s neck, with maybe a strap attached to it.
It's already available. Cost is still an issue.
Or even play with the animal and make themselves irresistible to them. Who'd want an animal that needs cleaning up after and a potential threat to other animals and humans. Cats just need feeding and look after themselves.
