How can the FAW restructure the women’s premier league to suit themselves? Putting who they think should be in there, rather than teams that got there on merit. Aberystwyth finished 4th, but relegated to tier 2 cos their face don’t fit. What a shambles! Stinks of everything the European super league was kicking up. These girls in Cascade have worked hard to get where they are, only for the FAW knock them back. Talented young girls will no doubt now walk away from the sport.

Based on the statement it seems pretty unfair especially if investments were made to meet the grade. I'm not sure how women's football will improve here without recognising sporting merit [unless shit loads of cash is invested which seems unlikely].
