Nowt to do with Brexit etc. Unless things changed in the last 2 years or so Sky have never been able to knowingly provide their subscription service outside of the UK. No Broadcasting Rights.
Sky Go has worked for UK subscribers since it was made EU law.

Was meant for people visiting Europe as opposed to residents.

Must have been in recent years then mate. ISPs were being shut down for providing service which allowed UK TV to be streamed....certainly in the Malaga area.

Yeah, it was something to do with access to paid services.

"Viewing Sky abroad
From 1 January 2021, you won’t be entitled to stream Sky outside the UK using your Sky Go, Sky Kids, Sky Sports, Sky Sports Mobile TV and Sky Sports Box Office apps. Some Sky apps will allow you to download your favourite shows and movies over WiFi before you leave home to watch offline while you’re abroad.

Certain rules mean people within the EU can stream content across all EU countries. From 1 January 2021, the UK will no longer be part of the EU, so we won’t be able to provide this service in the same way.

This change affects lots of online video, music and entertainment services, not just Sky"

There has always been issues with UK services being streamed to the continent due to rights issues affecting all the terrestrial channels, plus Sky, Amazon and Netflix. However, it is nothing that a VPN won't fix. The problem doesn't exist in reality.

UK Terrestrial Freeview TV could/can also be received via Satellite on Intelsat 907. Suitable Receiver (not Sky box) and BISS Codes to get around Encryption needed.

British Gas are an absolute shit stain of a company.
I worked there for about six months many years ago.
Don't give a toss about their employees. They also think that their customers are merely cash cows.
"About to die from hypothermia Mrs Jones? Alright we'll give you a credit meter. We'll charge 30% higher"!

EDF are a bunch of muppets too. I gave them a meter reading yesterday and they gave me a bill today. I'm £83 in credit which they've refunded into my bank account *and* they've increased my monthly bill by £16 a month. Don't they understand how budget accounts work? Overpay in summer & underpay in winter. Shower of bastards.

That just won't happen Boris promised to protect workers rights:hehe:
Well, here's the thing. For all the scaremongering, those claiming workers rights will go down the pan conveniently ignore British maternity leave for example is far beyond the minimum EU level. Surely the evil government would've cut it to the bare minimum as proscribed by EU law at the time, right? Or does that example undermine the claims?
