Loads of bastard snow in Birmingham

I was sat on a plane ready to set off to the Jewel of North-Rhine-Westphalia: Dusseldorf, when the pilot came out of his cockpit to tell us all to get off & go back to the terminal.

4 pints later, they announced everything was cancelled, so we had to trudge out through the blizzard to the warm embrace of a budget hotel.

Back on our way today, this time the destination has changed to Frankfurt

Get yourself to Mönchengladbach & Gelsenkirchen (Schalke) if you haven't done so already. West Germany has some great football days/weekends all within 30 mins or so from each city
