Also this Airbus A340 with “thank you NHS” on it has been going back and forth Cardiff and Newquay all day today. Apparently it’s going to be used for distributing kit for the NHS, and it’s been carrying out training flights.

i thought we were on lock down and safe distancing. if we opened the beaches etc there would absolute carnage imo just look at england. and the cases of covid gone up in places like merthyr and south wales? anyway wrong thread for this subject

Three bridges span the chasm above the Mynach river near Aberystwyth, strangely stacked one upon the next.

This is Pontarfynach, or “Devil’s Bridge”.

The original bridge dates back to sometime between 1075-1200, the middle bridge to 1753 and the upper span to 1902.

I've never heard the Welsh name before - translates as monk's bridge.
