Fack right off! Who doesn’t like burgers?? That’s like saying you don’t like toast. Everyone likes toast. And everyone likes burgers.

It depends though. If you’ve bought a pack of 10 frozen burgers from Iceland for 99p then chances are you’re not going to be impressed.

Make your own and it’s a different story. Good quality lean beef, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, bit of grated onion - whack it all together and off you go.

Brioche bun, melted cheese, streaky bacon (nice and crisp), chipotle Mayo - delicious.

Hungry now.

I’m the same. There’s something about those giant ones you get off a burger van. Even when you know it’s probably 10% meat you still get one and wolf it down. Not sure about the McDonalds ones though, they always seem really thin and never actually taste of anything.

Can‘t beat a home made massive fuck off heart attack one though. Made one about a year ago when we were getting Gousto that was massively fantastic - only about 1100 calories too.

Right, well I know what I’m having for tea tomorrow now.

Seems to be a bit of a correlation between league position and quality of the food available, with it improving the further down you go. Can understand that the lower league clubs do whatever they can to try and attract people, but when you compare budgets, it's pretty poor show from those in the top two divisions

That’s true I took my grandson to Merthyr the other week and he wanted chips and curry,gutsy little swine,but fair play it was really good value,and I managed to cadge a few chips off him

I dont seem to ever have one these days, but I have to agree - equally happy with some kind of majestic 'gourmet' burger or a total disgrace donkey burger from a van. S'all good.
I'm going to say thugh, there is something about McDonlads that I never especially liked. Burger King way nicer, IMO.
Got to have one now - maybe make some from scratch on the weekend
