Have i invented a new football tactic?

I just thought of this tactic.
Theoretically, could this be done?
Pass the ball to a player, and all his teammates surround him in a circle as in my drawing below, and they guard him as he walks it into the goal?

This is tried and tested mate. Every under 8s team across the land play like this.

Headwear is allowed too. Like that Crewe player who wore a bandana and Cech with his helmet. Just make a big huge eggcup on the top, put the ball in there and watch Haaland's 50 goal a season get broken by some unknown left-back from Accrington.

Crowds would virtually quadruple to watch the amazing skills involved.

The headwear idea has already been thought of as can be seen in Nugents drawing where we are obviously playing Mexico

It wouldn’t work though.

An opposition player could get through a gap to tackle the man in possession of the ball.

The only way they could stop that would be if they formed a tight knit circle with no gaps but then the ref would blow for obstruction and the circle wouldn’t be able to allow the player with the ball to move freely enough.

Oh I don't know.....think VAR would have to have a look though
