Several = Seven.

Although i cant say I'm happy with the ambiguity surrounding several/a few.

For example, to you and i, “a few pints” could mean four or five, to stanty “a few cans” could mean twenty.

Several sane as a few in my mind. The ambiguity is constructive but it's ridiculous to use when you're meant to be specific
