I hit a rabbit on the motorway once, the bang was horrible worse for him obviouslyOnly the first few then traffic would have to slow down as recovery vehicles cleaned up the meat. Such an amount would attract carnivores from around the world which would deter women drivers.
I was in a minibus in Kenya a few years ago where I saw a cheetah chasing a gazelle running alongside the road we were travelling on. All of a sudden it (the gazelle) turned right, under our wheels. Didn't even slow down.I was looking ahead, he ran from the side in front of me
On the bright side, I bet he's always been careful on the road.I had a rabbit run under a van I was driving once, looking in my wing mirror, the rear wheel launched this half-squashed rabbit 5ft into the air behind me. Not an issue normally, but this this was right in front of a mother with a kid about 5years old, coming home from school. Even 10yrs on, it still eats away at me what trauma I caused that poor kid to see it
