Probably worth checking some of those facts. There's an ulterior motive in these sorts of "ads". At the end of the day, British aid has stopped some kids becoming prostitutes before they hit puberty, has helped keep some kids out of working in sweat factories, has helped protect women from mutilation. If someone is getting paid £530k a year (and I bet Miliband isn't, or there are other aspects to his salary) to spearhead these things then it is money well spent.
Not so. Part of that is pure fiction. It's only a paragraph, but it is completely historically inaccurate.A link Splotty himself would be proud of
I'd wager there are 22billion ulterior motives. There's an ulterior motive in these sorts of "ads".
Just did a little check. Miliband works for an American charity so, I guess, isn't getting paid by Britain's Foreign Aid donations.I'd wager there are 22billion ulterior motives.
They didn't go for the nuclear option of homeless soldiers. That wins heart(les)s and mind(les)s alike.Just did a little check. Miliband works for an American charity so, I guess, isn't getting paid by Britain's Foreign Aid donations.
But.
Miliband. Triggers anti-Labout
Think of the Pensioners. Triggers virtue signallers
Look at how much he earns. Triggers the envious
Result... a load of comments on Facebook that are not at all anything to do with dislike of foreigners, honest.
It's surprisingly true and earns potentially more than what's quoted:Just did a little check. Miliband works for an American charity so, I guess, isn't getting paid by Britain's Foreign Aid donations.

Fair enough, but isn't this an American charity? It's surprisingly true and earns potentially more than what's quoted:

I guess his worth should be determined on how good he is at his job but I can see why some people would be pissed off by it.
Sincerely,
Someone who also questioned it being true.
Yeah. The first paragraph says that they receive UK aid though - for some reason. It doesn't clarify how much they get from UK aid so it could be proportionate to 1% of Miliband's salary for all we know.Fair enough, but isn't this an American charity?
