Same here BSP will be making it a Seaman's reunion at same time i reckon. Got loads of shipmates from the area. Liverpool is a great city, lots of sociable options. If you havwn't done so already, i recommend the beatles tour (via bus) and the Maritime museum is defo worth a visit.

Been looking up places to stay the night before. A lot of “hotels” in the area appear to be scousers charging £250 for a night in their spare room

The more i think about the early kick off the more pissed off i am. Really not good for those that want to go up and back same day. They could have had a 1600 kick off. Gets me wondering whether they just don't want thousands of cardiff fans in town before the game.

Doubt its about that personally mate. Terrestrial tv are as bad as Sky - they'll be thinking about viewers with nary a thought for the fans turning up.
