Netflix, Amazon, TV recommendations - August

Not much of a fan of American football tbh, so bearing that in mind, is it still worth watching?

I don't watch American Football at all but it's a very good documentary about the characters in an American football team. Mostly about the owner and he's an interesting bloke.

BBC1 tonight

Love a sweeping historical drama

Ima watch this as I know almost everything about the history of this period.

I'm also going to watch Atomic on sky.

Dunno if this is still on Netflix but this is class.

Just blasted through it, absolutely great documentary. Totally thorough, warts and all, interviews all the key people, even got George Bush and Rupert Murdoch being interviewed about it, just a typical great American story of sport, glory, money, winning and defeat.

It's weird though that Netflix never recommended this to me. I've watched all their American football docs and this one would have been right up my street, so if Netflix don't know me by now, they will never never never know me, oooooooo

Yeah....If you like the sport then this is a must....I don't even watch but just needed to see what happens next all the time. They love a sports documentary Netflix and do them far better than Amazon.

BBC2

10pm.

The Godfather

:thumbup::clap::warnock:
I like Godfather 2 better.

Plus I also like how many chip shops there are called the Codfather in Britain. I bet there's not even one in America cause they too thick as shit to imagine it.

There's a Chinese in Cheltenham that I've been too called Wokswagon. I bet there's not even one In Germany called that cause they haven't even got a sense of humor.

Watched it last week. Enjoyed it
Yeah great story. I love hockey as well so was a win win for me. Still brilliant if you don't like Hockey. Most Netflix sports documentaries are in depth enough that even if you don't love the sport the story is usually interesting.

Adding these to watchlist:thumbup:

Who's in it and what's it about (roughly)
Google Harry Bosch mate. It is an old series of 7 seasons. We found it via 'Ballard' a recently released series. Apparently thre is a 'Bosch legacy' out now. It is LAPD homicide Cop type of thing. The storyilnes have been very good in first 2 seasons.

Bosch Legacy is about Harry working as a PI, with his daughter Maddie as a LA patrol cop.
Very good.

Tis a bit shit alas

Also historically the armour, haircuts, tactics and weapons are inaccurate.
