Ok, a Netflix show that has only white people on the front cover? Interesting.

But it does feature a woman sitting to the side looking dour and serious. If I had to guess I would say they've made her the smartest and most capable person on the show, in the face of all odds, in a man's world etc

Judging by the way she's dressed I don't think even Netflix would have her literally kicking the arses of a bunch of men but there might well be a scene where she kicks a bloke in the nuts like it's nothing, probably played for laughs because hey, women assaulting men is comical on TV right?

So I predict this show features a lot of deeply flawed men, floundering about trying to run a business and her taking advantage of them with her superior intellect whilst they do every sexist trope under the sun only to be outsmarted by her because, y'know Netflix gonna Netflix.

Let me know, lads.
Honestly don’t understand your point here tbh. I’ve not seen it yet, but it focusses on the death of Benjamin Guinness and his four children, one of whom was the dour and serious daughter Anne, so it is historically accurate.
She led an interesting life making a valuable contribution to society - look her up.
Are we supposed to erase women from history?
No black members of the Guinness family? There weren’t any, there aren’t anything the show. What’s the problem?

That's what I said, didn't I?

Well let’s wait and see, but what you said was that you assumed that she uses her superior intellect to take advantage of the deeply flawed men - she didn’t.
The deeply flawed men floundering about to run a business, didn’t do such a bad job did they?

Yeah lets wait and see, I could be wrong but my assumptions are based on a couple of decades of TV and movie depictions of women.

I think you’re still sulking after the last mods meeting when @Mrs Steve R burst through the window and removed your head with a spinning roundhouse kick

Black people look like Guinness though.

Does that count?

Blue Lights - A Norn Iron The Bill with swearing. Predictable and packed full of stereotypes. Quite like it though.

House of Guinness decent a few episodes in but nowhere near as good as the guardian makes out

They usually have good judgement on TV shows (though often written in a smug and often pretentious manner) so that's a bit worrying
