I know what you mean though. If I remember correctly I believe they are going to use run national coach services from the rear of central.

Not sure exactly where. The thing with national express is that you rarely get more than 2-3 coaches waiting at the same time so it really doesn’t need to be that big.

As for the interchange, as I understand it, the reason it has so few stages, is that it’s one of these ‘smart’ bus stations to allow buses in and out to be managed, so you have greater flexibility when there are traffic problems and on event days. Apparently some local services may still operate from Wood Street and Westgate Street.

I wonder if Megabus will run from there? At the moment (or before Covid at least) they were running from Greyfriars Place and there was never enough room for them to run from there in the first place, it's chaos down there most of the time and it's a weird enough system around that area as it is with people just moseying into the road at any moment and cars and taxis just stopping anywhere they like to drop people off. To be fair to them, councils never really think about cars having to drop people into town or pick people up.

its like carnival parade - guy on stilts, overweight in fairy dresses, funny masks....missing the decorated floats with 6 foot speaker system in the photo, hope they had a few of them to shake the glass windows as it passes......was there anyone throwing beads?
