OK Philadelphia cheese spread. That lumpy stuff is just pure laziness in preparation.

The British haven't a clue in using cheese. The cheese in this context is just a carrier of the cracked black pepper. Fresh bread makes it even better.

This recipe is something I picked up in Austria. Austrian cuisine is IMO the epitome of the culinary arts.
