William Seager cottages for retired seamen, corner of Colchester Avenue and Newport Road c1950. Now site of trading estate modern Seager Cottages in Penylan built mid 90s

The Wharf bar and restaurant Schooner Way, now demolished.
 
I would have thought that was a listed building :sherlock:
Not sure why it wasn't as not an abundance of that type of building left in Cardiff. Council probably didn't want to do they could coin it in as they did for flats

The Borough Arms c1890, before its extension upwards, to bring it inline with The Market building. Interestingly, it was renamed The Bodega in 1897 and reverted to its original name in 1961

A wartime photo of the Currans munitions factory down the docks, it looks like fire damage to roof from an earlier air raid.
 
This is a photo of a photo, hence the odd angle to avoid the frame light reflection.

This was from the Novotel Hotel not far from the site of The Wharf Pub actually. In their bar and the basement toilets they have loads of old Cardiff photos if anyone is passing, or interested.
