No manager in their right mind will come here, Tan is fucking mental to work for, as can't say with!! Steve Cooper people say? Working with this board & owner? None of em lie straight in bed!!
For a manager to make a statement as he has, shows how poisonous the job is, in fairness he's worked on peanuts, and peanuts just don't buy quality at this level, we have 0 in youngsters coming through the academy, and people have been screaming about colwill being this & that, he has improved agreed, but is he championship material really? I'll get shot down for this, I just don't think he is, his speed of thought just isn't there.
Bulut came, probably with false promises in his ear, ie budget etc, has at least got us further up the table than previous incumbents, and im not gonna lie, I said I'd be happy with mid table, and it seems that's where we will end up, so I'm reasonably happy, for his 1st foray outside the Turkish lig, he has done OK, but this isn't a division to be cutting your teeth in, especially under embaro, and then the January window fiasco to boot, his chances of better success has been hampered to a degree, and his stubborn picking of certain players, and lack of know how re British football, and how tough the championship is, seems to have taken him by surprise.
My fear is apart from cooper, which seems to be peoples fav, who in their right mind will come?

Some good points there, and I think we would struggle to bring in an established manager at this level. Bulut has, probably, been let down by the owner - but if the owner doesn't trust the person brought in by Dalman to spend his money then that's where the disjointedness will keep us stuck in this rut. I have said it before, and I'll say it again - this club needs a new owner. "But it could be a shit owner - careful what you wish for" - well it can't be more shit can it?

As for Bulut - can you honestly say he's done the best he can with what he's got? That's two 0-2 tonkings in a row now. Against clubs in shit form with nothing much to play for (apart from bragging rights from the Jacks). In both games we offered little. We can expect that this form will not be broken, based on Bulut's track record. Yes, fair enough - mid-table is a good place to be after last season. But, can you honestly say that this is a team worth watching?

When we had Bothroyd, Chops, McCormack, Koumas, Whitts - that was a team that I'd go and watch even if I wasn't a fan of the club. I'm a fan of the club, but cannot be bothered to go and watch them for many many different reasons. I'd drop everything to watch them at the bottom of Division 4 - but there isn't anything to drag me there right now. That's pretty damning on the club, and the manager.

Some people were saying dalman & bulut were buddies etc, I can tell you with complete confidence, they hadn't met in person before bulut took the managers job, just spoke on the phone, they certainly aren't "friends".

I'm not really sure this is breaking news to be fair - nor important news, but the "In the know" type posts are boring as fuck.

As for div 4, yes we all were city mentalists back then! if you took it too seriously, we'd never have stayed faithful for so long.

Yes I definitely miss them heady days under dj, the best football I've seen in over 50 yrs supporting ussadly he couldn't get us " over the line"
I can say hand on heart, we have had far worse times than we have now in my experience.
Sadly,after managers have spunked copious amounts of tans money, he seems unable to trust anyone anymore, including the board( mainly dalman)
I have, and sadly will, watch any team that we put out, a habit I just can't shake, harder than giving up smoking in truth for me!! No we are certainly not a great watch currently, but in the managers defence, he has been hamstrung to a certain degree, and I'm not sure another manager would get a better tune out of some of the players we currently have! I wouldn't want to be in the managers shoes here currently, not knowing shit, and 0 contact from even dalman, who went and persuaded him to come here, is disgusting behaviour imho, but this is cardiff under tan perhaps he, as I suggested, has given up, and has already decided he can't work under these conditions any longer, I'd have been gone if it were me tbh.

Luckily there are always more managers than there are clubs .

I am beginning to think most or these managers are pretty much equal ability but it's how much owners are willing to back them thats the deciding factor.Together with the contacts of the manager.

I believe bulut has the contacts, just hasn't had the backing to get certain players he had on the top of his wish list, especially in the January window, for whatever reason.
It must be really depressing & frustrating at the same time, to not know wtf is happening, can't bring his family here, not having a clue if he will even be here & for how long! Plus the players are no doubt wondering if they will be here too next year, some imho are already on the beach, so to speak.
If Bulut's remit, was as he has alluded to previously, to stay in this division, then build from there, regardless of how he's done it, he has! Can't see the demands also including a swashbuckling side, playing dreamy football , especially with embargo, and January's cock up? But this is as I've said, cardiff city under tan's reign.
Something has to change, and pronto, or we will just be repeating previous seasons debacles, and will eventually drop down a league, or even 2 possibly Tan either shows trust & faith in a manager, or simply get a buyer interested, because according to some, clubs in far worse positions than us have been bought( not my words by the way).
I have a feeling if bulut does not get an extension, he's not going to hold back in any interviews, re how badly this club is being run, Those turkish people speak their mind, if nothing else.
I was asked if Bulut has been summoned before his excellency tan yet, and someone replied to me saying he has been? We will soon see wtf is going on I guess!
