I've been there several times when that's happened:

"Final call for passenger Stantys Tattoos to stop chucking scoops of ale down his gregory and get his pissed arse down to Gate 32"

Thinly veiled "I had EasyJet speedy boarding passes & some chavs cut in front of me" post imo...
Well this time I was flying for the first time with my younguns.

So once the speedy crew boarded they called the kids and I went past them with a rye smile on my face bashing a couple of them with the buggy on the way

:hehe:

Depends on the flight, I queue for the gate of I got no hold luggage. Need to get that space in the over head locker and no need for the carousel.

Trouble is with easy jet and Ryanair, if you are the last say 30 people getting on, your carryon luggage will be put in the hold.
Absolute murder if you have to queue at the carousel upon landing if you didn't originally have hold luggage.

So just humour me for a second, as someone who has little experience of planes. You go on a plane with a bag just holding your carry on stuff (drinks, wallet, that kind of thing?) and they make you put it in the overhead locker, but for some bonkers reason they don't give enough space for everyone to be able to do that so you then have to go back and put your bag through security and have them stow it in the bottom of the plane with the rest of the luggage?

Ok , if you go on a holiday, then you will have big cases to put in the hold.
Usually 15 or 20kg per person.
Each person is allowed a carry on bag that can hold 10 or 15kg, if you go on holiday with a woman, she sees that as 2 extra bags to carry her stuff on. More shoes n shit etc.

On a beach holiday flight i wont queue, as the conveyor belt experience cannot be avoided.

However, if you are flying for a weekend away, or for work, a man can fit all his clothes in a carry on bag easily. Piece of piss.

What you dont want to do is get to your seat late and a, bag is taken off you as the overhead lockers are full and you have to go to the conveyor belt when you land or b, you get your bag in the plane, but its 20 rows away from you.

Yes you're right, the overhead lockers are not big enough for everyone, when people are taking, bags, coats and laptops these days.

Blimey, that's a bit shit. To allow you to carry on stuff, even specify a weight but then not have enough room for it all in the overheard compartments.

I agree.
On longer flights it's not so much of a problem as the lockers are bigger

They should reduce the size allowed in the cabin imo

I could holiday for a fortnight on the size of some of the bags the bastard women were taking on

This talk of wanting to get an overhead locker, you do realise you can put it under the seat in front of you right?

But then all your crisps that you're taking because of the foreign muck will be crushed.

During the flight yes. For take off and landing it has to go in the locker

Theres no point maring me boys.
Only small bags can go under seat for the entirety of the flight. Like a womans handbag or a laptop bag.

My hand-luggage sized case fits under no problem. And the foxy women of the budget airlines say it's ok. So if it's ok with you I'll trust the experts.

For my recent German football trip, I got 4 days of clothes (including change of shirt for the nights) plus toiletries etc into this specifically purchased man bag which exactly fitted the severe Ryanair under seat size restrictions.

So there.
