So, if, as Bulut claims, the team didn't press on Saturday as was practiced before the game, what do we conclude from this?
There are really only 3 possibilities:-
1 The players are incapable of pressing as Bulut demands.
2 Bulut struggles to get his message across.
3 The players (or some at least) don't agree with his methods.

I'm hearing (not pretending to be ITK but the source has some credibility) that all is not well in the camp. So, is 3 the most likely?

Option 1.

On occasions we do it well, and it was a highlight of our play in the first of the season.

Bowler, Diedieou, Meite etc. will all be playing at a lower level next season.

Etete, Colwill & Tanner, all fortunate to be playing mid-table Championship football.

Only Grant has proper quality in our attack.

That is why we have a poor press. That is why a lot of our games are boring. We have a poor attack. It is in some ways a worse attack than last season.

Kaba & Philogene were better than what we have this season, but you have to accept how restricted we have been and that it has been hard for the club to put a fully-rounded squad together.

Am I imagining things or were people not that thrilled by Philogene for a lot of the season but he started getting praise more towards the end of his time with us?

....... and in truth loans can be hit or miss, you get lucky sometimes, sometimes you don't.
Fundamentally disagree with this. It is not a matter of luck. It's about good research, a clear understanding of what you need, and increasingly about persuasive presentations to the player and the club that owns him. A couple of years ago we were very good at identifying good fits: Drameh, Giles, Hugill, Ikpeazu, Doughty, Doyle etc. But the guy who led this was nabbed by Brighton, so I believe.

Kaba benefited from us actually getting the ball in the box early ,something we've failed to do all season .Philogene unlike most of our current wingers wasn't afraid to go beyond the fullback. So this season ,both probably would have struggled because of the slowness of getting the ball forward.Grant for me has been our best loanee ,when played wide he's shown a willingness to attack and his work rate has been exceptional .Phillips has shown his class so unlikely he'll be with us next term .Bowler inconsistent Diedieou hasn't impressed in what little time he's had on the pitch Esbrand likely to shine at.a higher level. All in all were in for a major overhaul come next season whoever is helm :bluebird:

I would say that Grant and Philips are the only loanees who could regarded as successful. And even with Grant I wouldn't have him here next season, given what he's likely to cost. He works his socks off, but my grandson passes the ball better than he does.

As I obviously bum erol most weeks, it's a stay from me 🌈🌈:hehe::hehe:
On a serious note, I'm on the fence in reality, the tactics ( and a fair few players) need to change, especially at home, but our owner by all accounts, is solely making the decision, so God only knows what he is actually waiting for:shrug2:
We are not getting relegated, neither were we ever making the play offs imho, we are where I said I'd be happy with, due to having to operate with one hand tied behind our backs, I will say, we are consistent..............at being inconsistent :nqat:
What worries me mostly is tan, and his obvious need to feel in total control, and how the fook would he even know a good manager, even if they landed on his lap:roll:.If he fires Bulut, he's not going to ask anyone like dalman,to choose the next incumbent.
So for now it's stay, but if results & style of football at home remain the same early doors next season, then he simply has to go.
I wonder how Tan reaches decisions.
He must have advisers in all aspects of his business empire so is anyone advising him on football.matters. I think there is because he wouldn't risk the money involved on his own knowledge which is not great.

Philogene had two spells. At the beginning of the season it took him a few games to find his feet, but once he did you could see then that he was a quality player. He then got injured, then when he came back exactly the same happened again, a few games and he was back to how good he had been.

Well the Hull owner reckons he's now worth 30m+, which for now is a bot rich imho.

I reckon he seeks advice, then ignores it completely, when it comes to footballing matters tbh! If rumours are true, as in media, then tan has been the only 1 who is deciding whether bulut stays or goes, even though he was a dalman pick, and he seemed to be getting more of a say, due to loaning the club money, which now shows to be its " no change" at Cardiff city under tan's ownership.sleep walking into one crisis after another:facepalm:. When will he realise that the club needs stability, and a playing philosophy we at least try and make ours:shrug2:.

He was trying to do too much individually at the beginning of the season, and maybe I am being a bit unfair or dramatic, but I thought he suffered from playing with Ojo, who took way too much time on the ball for a winger, so there was already frustration there from the stands at our attacking play which got some directed at him.

Stay- we were a striker and a fit Ramsey away from the playoffs.

Next season tho we need to
1. Get a good goalkeeper who's good with his feet
2. Get a whole new attack due to a lack of goals and loans returning
3. Either get a new midfielder or tell Ramsey he's not a box to box midfielder anymore. He needs to try and change his game and become ill metronome

I can think of a few foreign coaches who've taken at least a season to find their feet in the championship.

None of the above will probably happen tho as it seems that he's pissed off tan in some way
