Oh well, my expectations of this were so low after Tuesday that I've spent the afternoon jetwashing my patio.

I might pop onto the match thread now and amuse myself with the comments from when Meite was brought on

I nearly threw my cup of tea at the telly when he brought him on. I was really pissed off.

Going into the international break in the relegation zone would have been so much worse psychologically..thank fuck we win today

Riza was very lucky today. Meité for Salech like for like might have been understandable, but taking Salech off at that point and leaving Robinson on was pointless as we were left without a target for 10 - 15 minutes.

PS Colwill was dreadful

Colwill couldn't get into the game

He was too nice on the pitch

Also needs to know when to take players on and when to release

Nobody guarantees wins but I don't think it's unfair to say we've dropped a lot of unnecessary points under Riza. Certainly enough to have had us comfortably safe

I do not rate Riza to take us into top 6 with a decent squad but he's doing ok as a rookie but also agree he needs replaced at end of season

I think the win today keeps him in the job. That means we just got to hope he'll get us over the line. I think Riza made some good decisions today, but like you say we need to be thinking of someone else next season. Let's just stay up first.
