POST MATCH FANS REACTIONS - BLACKBURN

FOOTBALL OFF-TOPIC FUN BETS
I think the win today keeps him in the job. That means we just got to hope he'll get us over the line. I think Riza made some good decisions today, but like you say we need to be thinking of someone else next season. Let's just stay up first.
Having not sacked him after Tuesday it would be weird now to sack him after a win. That said we didn't appoint him when he was doing well but did when it turned to shit :hehe:

His goal was excellent but after that did very little

But he got us 3 points
I don't think that is fair. He put himself about as physically as Salech had done. The pair of them were an absolute nightmare for the Blackburn CBs especially the one with the bad head to start with.

I think it's too late in the season to sack him now. We have a win, we have two weeks until the next game. I still think 47 points will keep us up but really wanted Oxford to lose today to drag them into it. Possibly 48 considering our shit GD.

Was mentioned in the radio commentary that he was working hard defensively towards the end.

Ironic that after criticism about Riza's selection with playing with one wide player in O'Dowda from the start and the need for crosses . Then we get two quality crosses one from Mansverk for Salech which he finished brilliantly and another from Alvez which was met with another great finish from the Yak.If only we would get the ball in early when given the chance .

If we were going to sack him we should have done it after Tuesday at the latest. Given the lack of decisive action I think we have to assume he's our man for better or for worse and get behind him

I hope Tanner is back soon, loves to run at defenders, shoots on sight, can cross and decent defensively. Plus my daughter misses him.

I'm going meite. He's had so much stick but came in abd win the game. Set up alves and had one cleared off the line.
Had a few bites from fish as well who did so well keeping the ball out of the net

We've definitely missed him..offers a directness and intensity when playing well. Would defo have been worth a few extra points over ten games

Do you actually believe this

Which manager would guarantee these wins

Haaland maybe if he played himself
Yes I really do believe this in all of these games he’s made the most suicidal tactical decisions I’ve ever seen from a manager.

Bristol away was the worst decision making by a manager in any league this season. We were absolutely smashing them and the second goal was on its way he took off all the players that were causing the danger and replaced them with defenders and went five at the back with about half hour still left to play. We instantly went from looking for a second to scraping a draw.

Against Plymouth he done the opposite and waited until they equalised before getting an attacker off to replace Goutas who’d been sent off. So we made it easier for them to equalise then when they did made it harder for us to score another goal absolute backwards tactics.

An against Luton who are fucking shit we had Rubin Colwill on the wing who’s as fast as a three legged dog and our top scorer was on the bench.

We aren't organised enough to get rid of him and have a replacement lined up ahead of time unfortunately. There was no chance he was going before this weekend, we have no-one in the club to step up and take on an interim role.

I'm not sure which way it will go still, even with today's result. After the final whistle everyone seemed very together, it's a real difficult balancing act, I'd also question who we are going to get to agree to take us on in our current predicament. Interesting few days.

So Rizas position is still not safe even after today's result?

I think the club still need to twist as I don't trust Riza with his constant tinkering, to get us the points to see us over the line.

The club should be twist but we're talking about cunts who can't play cards or do basic maths to abuse your metaphor

Fair points well made

I would expect there to be plenty of candidates for the job in the summer.

The realisation is dawning on many supporters that we are a big club and we now have the best squad we have had in ages.

For all his faults, we have an owner who has consistently supported his managers and invested accordingly.

It's not going to take a major overhaul to get us up the table where we should be next season, just the right man at the helm and another couple of loans of the quality of Mannsverk and Alves.
