I still can't believe that Sol is gone.

Easily one of my favourite city players of all time. So many happy memories of his time with us.

I believe that City are in a far different place to when we produced the odd decent young player in the past and had to sell.

We may be in the third division this season, but there is no financial pressure to sell.

BBM has already shown that there is a clear path for youngsters who are good enough and the two experienced signings so far have actually stepped down divisions to be part of his plan.

We also see a youngster joining this week because of BBM's vision for young players.

City has often been described as a sleeping giant. Maybe this is the start of the awakening that players and managers will want to be part of and who knows what might be achievable over the next few years?

Lost a bag in London, got my passports locked in a safe in Bohol, caught up with my ex girlfriends family, whose daughter I sponsored on a radiology course and is now fully qualified.

Abu Dhabi has been a transit place only. Back to work Monday which is depressing.
