All owners like to be liked.
I totally agree he has and is making mistakes and I am sure he knows what the fans are saying.
I tell you one thing if I was putting money in and getting abused you wouldn't get much more out me.
Constructive comments should be welcomed and taking into account when decisions are being made but there is a line you don't cross.
When someone is keeping the club afloat with his own finances he deserves certain amounts of respect and manners.This is probably part of his way of thinking and culture.
We will have to wait and see if any prospective buyers turn up but in the meantime it's Tan or nothing.
From my point of view I would like Tan to stay but change his strategy by putting the duly qualified people in charge and stop the musical chairs synnario surrounding our manager and coaching staff.

Must people are respectful. Some gobshites on social media are critical. If Tan can't handle that he's in the wrong game and probably not the great business man people make him out to be. He was quick to revel in success but has been like an absentee landlord since the last relegation

I absolutely think he and the others need to show their faces more often . Staying away doesn't send out a good message at all.
In Tans case he is 73 and has a long way to come.
Take it from me as you get older the appetite for long trips fades with all the health issues you tend to get.

It's all well and good saying someone else would have bought us. Who. There was hardly a queu
e of interested parties.
He has brought more success to the club than any owner I can remember.
Yes we have had bad days but perhaps you would prefer Hamman the blood sucker and be up the high court every other week fighting for your existence.
Tan is not perfect by a long way but he was the best we were going to get.
I would love a mega rich owner to come in but doesn't seem likely.
In the meantime time careful what you wish for.

Why are the only two viable owners, in your world, Hammam and Tan? Loads of clubs are getting bought. No-one wanted Wrexham 10 years ago, when they were nearly groundless. No-one wanted Swansea when they were starting non-league football in the face.

The fact is that we are very close to being back in the back-waters. Clubs like Scunthorpe, York, Southend - all ex-Championship clubs, have dropped out of the Football League. Two of those clubs ended up in the 6th Division. We are now, in my opinion, more likely to go out of L1 through the trapdoor than we are through the ceiling. We were close, very many times, to going bust. Buckets to pay the police. Odd ball fans buying Sugrue. Fan groups buying Nogan. There's many reasons why we don't want to be in L1. The main one being that the people of Cardiff have no appetite for watching lower league football.

I may be taking the piss, a little bit, about the 2,000 fans on a Saturday days. Football has moved on from those days, but the majority of our fan base was from outside Cardiff back then.

You say be careful what we wish for. Do you not agree that there are people out there who would not have fucked it up as royally as the ever-absent Vincent Tan? When he comes to the UK, he does all his business from London.

I am saying here and now, I am not scared of Tan fucking off. It would arrest the slide.

If he can't travel here, maybe he should sell up. What is a L1 club worth these days anyway? £30m?

Tan is first and foremost a business man and we are just a small part of his empire. His continued absence very possibly reflects his disenchantment with the way things have gone at City.

With the likely Nantes settlement bubbling away, he probably has his financial bases covered here and will be looking to move on having more or less broken even, especially if we are relegated.

What he sells us for will be of secondary importance in that scenario.
