I remember Dai Hunt was watching the Ajax players walk in from their bus on Sloper Rd and Jan Klass Huntelaar was just to make his £20m move to Real Madrid but was with the Ajax team and Dai shouted “Oi, £20m for you? I wouldn’t pay 20p”

I remember Dai Hunt was watching the Ajax players walk in from their bus on Sloper Rd and Jan Klass Huntelaar was just to make his £20m move to Real Madrid but was with the Ajax team and Dai shouted “Oi, £20m for you? I wouldn’t pay 20p”

I went but remember little except for the game being shit, KJH playing and an impressive away turnout for a friendly. Think it was pissing down to.

Was smoking my brains out on the Grange End, everyone was. Everyone was in the Ajax half of the Grange as well but not tobacco, fantastic smelling

That Jamaica game was amazing. Was on the Bob Bank, and it was 80% Jamaicans. Looked across to the Grange End, all the Jamaicans in one corner - Phil Suarez came on the tannoy to tell them to spread out - just big puffs of smoke rising into the air.

Bellamy's Welsh debut as well, if I remember correctly.
