s I was saying @Eat Y'self Fitter has made a few examples of Ref Sauce playing a supporting role to other sauces. It lacks the minerals to carry a dish on its back in the way a Brown Sauce can with say a sausage sandwich.
What's Ref Sauce? A sauce that won't award Morrison a penalty?

I notice the people that ask for brown often say "just a bit" or "not too much" prob because it's grim.

I notice the people that ask for brown often say "just a bit" or "not too much" prob because it's grim.
Now in my experience, you have to say "just a bit of sauce please" otherwise they will happily squirt (ooo errrr) half the bottle over your bacon roll thus overpowering the taste of the bacon rather than enhancing it.

You can have that top tip for free as a bit of customer feeback

The vinegarised shite ketchup we get over here is pretty poor though. The best ketchup without a doubt is found in southern European countries, and is truly lip-smackingly good

It's the same with stuff like Tango. Probably has to have a higher minimum amount of tomato to be called tomato ketchup.

I guess it depends who's doing it, I make mine as if I'm going to eat it myself, ie with just a little bit of sauce, too much makes it go cold quicker too.

I do like that also but prefer Brown sauce. I usually mix and match and chuck a few chilli seeds on to

I like the idea but I once saw a clip of how Worcestershire sauce is made and it put me off it a bit.

Ooh, is it like fish sauce? That's horrible but fish sauce is too tasty to turn down.
