Just from the northernersSome valleys people in town on the piss, tourists, egg chasers and WOL call it Chippy lane. I expect a wide margin in this vote in favour of Caroline St.
Where's the option for "Its name is Caroline Street but also has the nickname Chippy Lane but people seem weirdly keen to deny that fact for some bonkers reason?"

A load of chippys, in a lane.
It's Chippy Lane.

I do find this ‘off the bone’ thing a bit odd mind. I mean you’d hardly have chicken curry on the bone would you? In fact does anyone even have chicken and chips anymore, from a chippy like, not a fried chicken place? That’s a very 70/80s thing, a bloody horrible pallid old greasy chicken wing that’s been in the cabinet for a week. Fuckinell, what were we thinking of.
