What is the penalty for entering into administration? For a club, entering into administration is no easy decision. It will most likely result in large scale player sales and will most definitely result in a points deduction. For an EFL team the deduction stands at up to 12 points

Feel for the fans but how many times have they been let off the hook?

I'm grateful for Tan and his money but wish he would put the right people in place so that the money could've gone to good use and invested wisely Dalman & Choo make it up as they go along.

They run the club and make the decisions I dont believe Tan cares too have much of an influence anymore we are just a failed project to him and is just putting money in every month to keep us afloat cause it's the right thing to do rather than just walk.

They won’t go out of business.

Someone will come along and buy them as they’re still a big club and an attractive prospect.

Other than Swansea, for whom I would like nothing more than complete bankruptcy and disappearance, it's never nice to see teams struggle this badly. As much as it is their fault, it's not the fans fault and it's pretty scary when it's a club like derby who are not too disimilar from us in terms of size. 12 years ago we weren't far away from this and I don't know what I'd do without the club, I'm sure lots of derby fans are getting pretty nervous right now. Even if there are a lot of nobheads supporting them. 12 points deduction and relegation would be fair enough but hopefully they're not another Bury.

They haven't as yet gone out of business though. They have run out of cash and their directors have been given the boot. The administrators brought in now have eight weeks to negotiate with the Club's creditors, which is in their interest to agree to as it's their most likely chance of receiving the monies owed, rather than a fraction of it if the Club were liquidated. The Club in the meantime can carry on trading.

Are players allowed to walk away now the Club have gone into administration?

The Club is clearly in a mess, and the turning a blind eye to the dodgy accounting for so long has just meant the Club has dug a bigger hole for itself. This entering administration will hopefully allow the Club to have the reset that it badly needs.

I fear this is only the beginning. There will almost certainly be other clubs calling in the administrators before this season ends, and surprised it hasn't already happened with the last 18 months every club has gone through
