Indeed - what he fails to grasp is that the majority of people simply don't give a shit about the things that "concern" Corbyn and his followers. Rather than reaching out to attract the voters needed, instead Corbyn doubled down based upon blind dogmatism, failing to read the mood of the electorate.

What we also saw with Corbyn was a facade, a fake, a fraud.

His socialist backers love the EU. Corbyn has always spoken against EU, voted against EU. Thus we had that sham of a pretence at engaging in the Remain campaign with Cameron et al - appeasing his cultists by "refusing to campaign with a Tory". Meant he avoided that awkward moment of having to educate his devotees to his views on EU.

Indeed - what he fails to grasp is that the majority of people simply don't give a shit about the things that "concern" Corbyn and his followers. Rather than reaching out to attract the voters needed, instead Corbyn doubled down based upon blind dogmatism, failing to read the mood of the electorate.

And to be fair, Corbyn deserves credit for sticking to those issues and his beliefs, in a "Here I am, take me or leave me" kind of way.
The problem is, not enough other people shared his views.

Part of the problem, is that he dithered on Brexit, my understanding is that he was a leaver, but nobody was really sure. The one time he needed to be absolutely clear.

The big issue with him of course was the antisemitism thing which occupied way too much of his time and, lets be honest, most people in this country don' give a shit about.

He was a leaver. Always spoke against, voted against anything EU related in HoC. The reason nobody was really sure was because he did his best to hide it, staying quiet on the issue and the cultists drinking the Kool-Aid refused to listen when people pointed his views out.

Oh I think after this pandemic most agree the health service needs public support and investment and Corbyn was the one leader pushing for more investment in our NHS.

Also his proposal to take utilities like gas, electricity, rail out of private hands and back in public ownership is universally popular. People are fed up having to take a second mortgage to heat the house and take a trip on a train.

A lot of the policies were popular, unfortunately Corbyn was not for whatever reason.

The higher taxation for the big corporate firms and an increase for all with a living wage is now also gaining popularity.

It certainly appears to be a first for this site, copying and pasting photographs of other members into your own avatar. What's next, photo's of the family car, holiday? Photo's of other member's family, wife, kids, grand kids?
I have never seen such a flagrant disregard for other members on here, in all the time I've been a member. If this is allowed to go on, where does it all end? Only someone who is deeply emotionally disturbed, or has other un-diagnosed mental health issues, would think that this was acceptable.
