Firstly I'm not doing no march.

So another good haul of points from February just slightly soured by the manner of our 1 defeat and only dropped points against Plymouth. Also annoyingly our next opponents and main title rivals just don't seem to be letting up. This however makes for one hell of a game on Saturday, which tbh is what football should be about.

Anyway, another tricky month of fixtures coming up and with only 12 games left of the season we're pretty much on countdown now and each result really matters.

Of the 6 games this month which would take us to 40 games played, all look like potential banana skins to me. That said I do have confidence in our team and this would be a great month to really make a statement. Although I'd love to win all 6 and all but confirm promotion, I think that if we could get 13/14 points this month that would be a good return and keep us on target at above 2 points a game.

Also as an aside, I believe we're about a point away from avoiding relegation and certainly can't finish bottom

I know Melv is for 18 points but interested in how others view the upcoming month.

Lincoln (h)

Barnsley (a)

Exeter (a)

Wycombe (h)

Blackpool (h)

Huddersfield (a)

The only fixture I'm not confident of taking three points in Lincoln so I'll go for a draw there and wins for the rest.

16pts

I think we'll beat Lincoln comfortably.

Maybe a draw v Wycombe and / or Huddersfield, so 14/16 points for me.

I expect 18, think we’ll get 16 but 15 will be the minimum

11 points

16 points.

Only the Lincoln game that I think we will drop points

WE'll lose to lincoln
Our potential goal of the season was beaten by an unlucky own goal and a set piece header that Lincoln also used against Blackpool last weekend. If I have picked that up, then I'm sure BBM's coaches will have.

Their fans are still looking over their shoulders at Bolton. The bubble bursts this weekend.

By my reckoning 1.5 points per game from hereon in gives us a good chance of being Champions and reasonable surety of automatic promotion. I fancy 12 points out of 18 from these fixtures.

Saturday should be a good indication of who will be Champions as may well be down to grit and character as much as quality. I'm a convert to how BBM rotates his team now and think that and being at home gives us the edge to beat Lincoln on Saturday and set the tone for what I think will be a relative procession to being Champions.

Saturday should be a great game. Win it and I think we're Champions. On the plus side should we lose all we have to do is slightly outpoint Lincoln and I'd like to think we've got the quality to do that. If Lincoln can beat us away and then maintain their form after that they'll be worthy champions. Either way I think it's great that we've had a proper challenge.
