Thread prefixes: Keep or get rid?

I'm a big fan - keep them all! I don't have time to read every thread (as I'm usually grabbing five in work), so this helps me focus on the ones I'd be interested in.

One thing I would say is when the season starts I would worry that the betting will flood the main board

Definitely need tags to distinguish between "betting" and "match threads" threads. Things did a bit blurred to begin with.

I thought at first that betting threads could double up as match threads but it doesn't work well in practice.

But on a match day, when there's a full program, is it possible to keep the betting threads down 1 or 2?
i.e "PL betting" "EFL betting" rather than individual matches. Too many betting threads may put off visitors/newbies.
Just a thought.

I'm sure the Bookie's wouldn't want to be setting up loads of Betting threads anyway. There'll probably be a thread with all manner of bets for our game and one or two other Betting threads of interest that can also be used as general discussion threads too.

I don't agree that those threads would be off-putting to new visitors though, I set the whole thing up as en enticement so that visitors could see we have games on here and a Credit system for fun betting.
