Just finished the latest series of Unforgotten.
If you haven’t seen it then don’t read any further.

Remember when this programme used to keep you guessing and you had no idea who the bad guys were until they brought everything together in the final episode?
Sadly it’s now gone the way of most of the shite on telly. I pretty much had this one sussed by halfway through.
I’ll give you a brief rundown of the characters.
Brown refugee.
His gay lover.
White man, his wife and daughter.
Female copper and Asian deputy.
Far righty woman.
Autistic man.
Yep, you’ve guessed it, every box gets ticked.
Brown refugee is a great guy who helps everyone. Even when he breaks the rules it’s because he’s forced into it by the British unfairness.
White man gets found murdered and chopped up but it’s ok because he’s a twat and don’t forget his poor wife and kid who killed him and chopped him up but it was his own fault anyway.
Female copper’s husband (white obv) is a cheating twat but it’s ok because the copper is strong and brave and she kicks him out. Copper’s sister shagged him too but she was the victim as well because it was the nasty man’s fault.
Asian copper is kind and considerate.
Far righty woman is only like it because men (white) make her do it for tv ratings. She’s also cheating on her boyfriend who’s crippled with a priest but it’s ok because in the end she’s nice too.
Autistic man is just misunderstood despite being found the home of the wife and daughter with a hammer.
