He’s always spoken well in interviews, and I read about him, before Sheedy took the last conversion, jogging all the way from behind the posts to shake his hand and congratulate him.

I like him when plays for the Lions. Does have a habit of not wrapping his arms on the tackle which makes him look a dirty player. Some of it comes from that I think.

There's something about an unapologetically confident/arrogant English player that winds people up the wrong way. He wouldn't be as hated if he wasn't such a good player.

Strange why it’s been that way for so long, are the standard schools more football based TBF to Farrell though he’s been under more pressure than anyone I can remember coming through England Rugby with his old man being such a good player both league and Union

For whatever reason it’s an upper class sport in England and a working class sport in wales

Academic achievement overlooked completely because you are good at a sport, and funds and resources targeted at that talent to enhance the schools reputation
